The Thornkin

They Are Brave, Loyal and Eager to Find Their Place in the World.

The Thornkin stands at the beginning of a greater journey. Though not yet as seasoned as the elder guardians, nor as steadfastly burdened with ancient responsibilities, they possess something no less valuable - a sincere desire to learn, grow, and become worthy of the trust placed in them. Earnest and determined, The Thornkin approaches life with both curiosity and courage, understanding that wisdom is earned through experience rather than inherited all at once. There is an openness about them, a willingness to listen, and a quiet hope that they might one day become the guardian they admire in others.

The presence of The Thornkin embodies growth, loyalty, and potential. Their energy encourages people to embrace learning without embarrassment and to recognise that nobody begins as a master of their calling. They remind us that every wise mentor was once a novice, every mighty oak was once an acorn, and every guardian first learned their duty through small acts of courage. Like a young thorn bush taking root beside an ancient woodland path, The Thornkin represents resilience in its earliest form, proof that strength begins long before it is fully realised.

The Thornkin is best suited to those beginning new chapters, actively seeking out their greater purpose, or building confidence in themselves and their abilities. For those who sometimes feel uncertain whether they are ready, The Thornkin offers encouragement, reminding them that growth does not require perfection, only the willingness to keep moving forward.

What are The Listeners?

The Listeners are an exclusive range of hand-carved, ghostlike souls who are seeking their forever homes with kindred human spirits.

They are each imbued with a unique character and their own individual energy. These little souls have an incredible presence. They are transformational.

From the heart of the forest to the heart of Avalon here at Wildwood, each Listener is cleansed with a sacred ritual using the waters of the Red and White Glastonbury Springs, palo santo, sage, and dragon's blood.

Each Listener is lovingly handcrafted with intention, making every piece completely unique. No two are ever alike, and each patiently awaits the person they are destined to accompany on life's journey.
